Does anyone know how much space to leave between a petrol Eberspacher and surrounding boxing in etc. Mine is under the seat and is covered by a shelf over the top of it from the front to back of the under seat area. I was thinking of boxing it in to gain a little extra space for tools etc.

According to the instruction manual as long as you concentrate on using the right materials for all the pipe work , it makes very little mention of what sort of an air gap is required when fitting one of these blowers in an enclosed space.

The thermal sensors within the ebber will shut the thing down if it isn't happy where you locate it....

Thanks Fritz I thought as much, I have never lifted the lid of the bed to feel if there was any heat present in the outer casing when the heater was working. I wonder what gaps others have in their set up.
