Its actually quite easy, going from memory when I done mine a few yrs ago, GSF do 'em for about £100 odd.

Run van up ramps, remove spare wheel tray & the metal rods that go above spare wheel, disconnect hoses, pull plug from fan, remove grills, unplug thermostat wire & remove themostat now so you dont bust it when you drop rad out.

All that holds rad are the 2 brackets underneath held onto body with 2 each side m8 bolts. loosen bolts & with assistant holding rad remove bolts & rad will drop out, remove fan & housing from rad. Note that the top of rad has locating pegs that go into body, dont lose rubber gromit thingys.

when you screw thermostat into new rad wrap ptfe pipe tape round threads or it may leak

refitting is reversal of removal (in a Haynes stylee )

Best of luck. Is the current rad repairable?? Might save a bit of dosh

errr...it was bodged, by us, some three years back as we needed the van urgently. Pretty damn surprised tht it has lasted this long! Crack in the metal owrk underneath the the bleed screw.

Covered in JB weld, which has given up the ghost. Spose we could file off the "patch" and replce it....really needs new radiator....fortunately we have one in the garage.... :D

Thanks for the replies folks! Might just try giving this a go!
