Hi all, can anyone tell me why some T25 panel vans have a twin-slot vent in both rear side panels, and some don't?
What are they for and can you determine anthing from them being there, ie age of vehicle etc?
A speedy response would be appreciated.
many thanks
Matt

The original buyer must have wanted a bit more ventilation in the back. Earlyer vans from VW or other makes often had them too, modern vans have something simular aswell usally lower down hidden externally behind the bumper trim (like the T4 and many cars). Don't know if it had anything to do with having a full bulkhead aswell as that would limit air flow into the back. My van had both.
If they are on a white diesel syncro its a fair indication it could be ex yorkshire water, but thats just because they bought lots of them like that and not many other people did. Normally I wouldn't read much into it.
