Hi i'm new to this forum, i have just bought a T25 1990 autohomes conversion. Everyting is ok apart from the roof ! its the elavating type made of fibreglass & ally. Does anyone know where i can get a new one? as this roof is falling apart, leaking, broken etc.,. ! i've tried the net phoned loads & no one seems interested. Would be really grateful for any ideas. Thanks

Hello! We had exactly the same problem with our leaky, rotten, wonky rather useless roof and replaced it with a fantastic new high top from www.timbertechnicians.co.uk

A replacement fiberglass elevating roof is available, have a search as there have been a few threads on the same topic.

These guys appear to be ok if a bit pricey!!

I am also considering replacing my pop top roof and the three suppliers identified above are the ones always mentioned.

I would probably go for the autovan option as this will provide a certain long term fix due to the GRP top.

I would be interested in seeing some pics of the finished article as the ones on the autovan website are not too clear. Anyone willing to post?

just thought i'd reply, I took the autovan option, & had it replaced in July, works fantastic, worth every penny spent.

Hi John. My elevating autohomes roof is still not too bad but I'm on the look out for someone who might be scrapping one of these roofs so I can get some repair panels. If you do get your roof replaced and you're scrapping the old one then keep me in mind as I could probably make use of some of it.

The bits I'm after are the black plastic panels about 15cm deep which go round the elevating roof section. I'm after the whole front section if it's in good nick and a few lengths of the side sections to cut up.
