diesel engine wiring

Hi there, I have a 1982 westfalia N/A 1600 diesel joker. I've been having trouble with my heater plugs and from looking at past posts it seemed that the wires for the three temp senders were on the wrong senders. I moved the white/blue one which comes from the relay onto the water pipe out of the block which seems to have sorted out the heater plugs (this was on the oil filter sender). The black/blue is now on the the oil filter housing, and yellow/blue is on the one on the end of the block.

I now have no temp gauge working and am very confused........can anyone tell me which wire is supposed to go where or point me in the direction on a wiring diagram for my van? Thanks

the white/blue wire (glowplug) goes to the sensor in the coolant top hose near the centre of the cylinder head.the yellow/red wire (coolant temp gauge) goes to the sensor in the housing on the right hand side of the cylinder head with the thiner rubber hose attached. both sensors are the same part number so it sound like you have a faulty one fitted try gsf under £10

thanks for the help, my problem is that i do not have the second sensor next to the smaller rubber hose. Is this anything to do with the engine coming out of a golf? It does have a second oil presure senor thiugh on the oil filter housing..........any ideas? Thank you......
