Hi there- just had my 'Just Kampers' cover (whih was fantasic- reccommended!) stolen from my westy in the middle of the night - any ideas of how to securely fix the 'new' cover to stop the thieves again? Only thing i can think of is spraying the cover with graffiti so that it's not re-saleable and riveting the base so that it can be padlocked to the jack supports of the van. Any other suggestions? Can't seem to find anything practical on the market ?

How about painting the registration number of the van onto it ....

I had thoughts like this when I had a cover stolen off my old MG.

One problem is that it may not have been taken to sell on or use as a cover, I found a tramp sleeping in mine a few days later. Customising it isnt gonna deter a tramp or drunk person taking it. Remember whoever took it may come back to see if you have bought a new one yet.

Sorry to sound so pessemistic. You've just reminded me of how angry i was when it got nicked. :x

the only thing you can do to stop it getting nicked is lock it to the van somehow, mercus will be along later this week, at the moment he's 2 vans up from me and still assleep!
