Duvet or Sleeping Bag?

We have a Westfalia Atlantic - the rock n roll bed measures 110 one end and 120 the other. Up to now we have used sleeping bags that are 180 wide. We are thinking of going over to a Duvet. Options are single bed width, which are 135, or the next size up, being a double at 200.
Does anyone use a Duvet and what is your experiance or advise?
Thanks

we use two single duvets from IKEA, really cheap and only really warm enough for the summer.
With have two single each gets their to cocoon themselves in if necessary.
I think we paid about a fiver for them.

we have a std double duvet on a 3/4 width bed! enough round the sides so you don't come into contact with the sides of the van when you are in bed, and always warm enough especially when used in conjunction with a propex!

We use a double duvet. Good down one in winter and lighter weight one in summer.

We use two single sleeping bags zipped together to make one huge bag, just 'cause it's what we had when we did 'proper camping' in't tent

I'm a wuss who feels the cold so we have a standard double sleeping bag (so I can steal Nigel's body heat) and a double duvet.
I like the fact that with the sleeping bag you don't have to make the bed, cos putting a bottom sheet on after several double vodka's can proove quite difficult!

We use 2 duvets (standard doubles on 3/4 bed), a thin one under, to soften things a tad, and a normal one over...
Best of both worlds, no bed to make, just unroll the pair, pillows in-situ and climb in!

you are obviously doing it wrong! you make the bed before you start getting pished, then it's not a problem!

I keep a double sheet on all the time - i just take it off the front of the rock and roll bed when the its not a bed.
We then have either one or two double duvets depending on how warm it is.
I dont mind sleeping bags, but its not as if i need to save the room - so a duvet it is for us!
This means we always have stuff (duvets and 4 pillows) in the back - but it doesnt really matter.

Duvets are for tents too....we always use a king size 15 tog from the bed at home along with our pillows if camping with the car - same in the van - if it's too warm then stick a leg out.....
We only use the sleeping bags when we are stuck for space - but then that's why we have a high top - so we never are
