I am changing my 1.6d to a 1.9d this weekend (I think I have a 1Y engine to go in, Its out of a seat Inca Van anyway) I forgot to get my Spigot Bearing so having looked on here and talked to GSF I am confused to which I need.

A search on here brought up Part Number : 111 105 313 A5.50

GSF did not recognise this number, the nearsest being.

111 105 313 A This was decribed as being a Spigot bearing for an Air cooled & water cooled Camper van (this is a shorter bearing)

The other one they came up with was.

056 105 313 C

This was for a Diesel engine as fitted to a T25. (this is a longer bearing)

Which do I go for?

All I can tell you is that the 1.9/2.1 petrol one is 15mm OD and 15mm long.

Ok think I have this sorted now. I measured my 1Y crank and the hole is 21mm ID and the internal shoulder is about 21mm in from the end.

The 056 105 313 C bearing is 21mm OD x 15mm long and after talking to another man at GSF who actually knew what he was talking about. This is confirmed to be the correct bearing for the 1.6d engine.

& will be correct for the 1Y convesion.

Any chance you could take some photos mate? I am going to do a change (when finances permit) and would really like to actualy see how it goes.
