Hi all,

Recently won these on ebay:

[img][IMG:200:133]http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk17 ... straps.jpg[/img]

They were listed as part no: 211 837 249 A

Which according to my VW Heritage parts catalogue as T2 check straps, (which according to Just Kampers catalogues, should also fit a T25, as in their catalogues they use te same part numbers)

These definately don't fit and don't look anything like the diagram in VW Heritage catalogue (can't copy and paste from their sites so eres the link)

If anyone can identify what these are from, atleast I may be able to pass them onto someone who needs...

Humm, acording to etka that part number was dropped in 1994 and not replaced. Doesn't say exactly what models it was dropped from though.

Correct part is 251 837 249 aparently, which is a proper T3 part number but apears to be also used in LT's from the 80's and also as replacements for early LT's and bays - basicly it became VW's standard.

It looks like early bays have a choice is check straps pictured, one of which pictured but just listed as NLA with no number - maybe its that? If not I guess it must be a splitty bit as its a type 2 part number (etka doesn't do splittys). The other bay checktrap has been replaced with the T3 type.
