I have aquired myself a trailer, but it would seem it needs a bearing transplant.
Before i strip it down can someone in the know point me in the right direction of what numbers from the bearing and who i need to quote them to for a new one.
cheers

You'll find something like ...
6210-2RS/C3 ....
6210 is a common metric bearing size reference,
2RS means 2 rubber seals and
C3 means it was manufactured in a particular factory in the Czech Republic.
Give me a bell with the numbers (01298 212741 at werk) and I'll see what I can do ... no promises mind
Ian.

C1/2/3 used to mean a particular clearance in the bearing... we had a lot of problems with a very large Bomag vibrating roller until it was sussed that the bearings didnt have enough clearance when they heated up...

Yep, it does mean the clearance on some bearings .... I was told on the smaller 'popular metric roller bearings' it's a factory designator, perhaps incorrectly ?

Common taper roller bearings for UK trailers with 1 inch axles is
L44643 for the centre roller part, (L44643L with integral with Seal)
L44610 for the outer roller cone.
