I saw this the other day while looking at the shoptalkforums page, it's a company called bostig engineering based in california i think, the whole conversion including the engine, exhaust, everything to fit the motor is $6000.00

Tis' certainly impressive looking from the picture & no need to raise lid apparently---obviously aint gonna be cheap-but it seems a practical thing ie jus a modern replacement of similar size to original--not a drag racer--dunno how it matches to standard vdub gear ratios tho----I aint gonna do it-I jus liked the picture--
