Sunroof

Anyone fitted a sunroof to their T3? I don't have one on mine, but i know some where featured with one. Would this be diff to weld in?
Anyone done anything cool?

It´s very easy to install one original sunroof.
And You don´t need any repaint.
We have one for sale.

Hi!
It´s is only fasten with glue on roof.
And only some welding on the side of door pole.
Just take down the ceiling. Place it were it shall be an weld it on door pole.
Cut the hole in roof.
Put glue between roof and sunroof and put some screw clamp and let it dry.
And put back the ceiling done.
And now you can see the sun through your roof.
1 days job.
The sun roof is made by glas and is complete with all parts price170 Euro.

Glass ones can be installed easily and ther are loads of fitters in the UK who will supply and fit for around £180-200. Then there is the factory fitted sliding sunroof which is HUGE and quite hard to retro fit I'd imagine these tend to sell second hand for £300.
But they are nice...

There must be many in UK that could install this sunroof for you.
It´s very easy but you need one day to let the glue dry between the sunroof and roof and one day to glue the interior.
But there is not many hour to install it. It can not cost much.

it's the biiig factory one i'd really like, but i can't justify the cost - and i don't really fancy cutting a fecking great big hole in my roof either!
i think that's the only reason i'd consider changing my bus for another one - the lure of a huge factory fitted sunroof...
