Hi i am converting a Aircooled to diesel and need to put the battery in the engine bay as it is in the cab in A/C.
Does anyone know where i can get a battery tray or has anyone used anything else to mount the battery in the rear. I belive the header tank also hangs of this as well.
Any sugestions are welcome.!!
P.s has any one got a diesel flywheel they could sell me.

Maximus had one off them earlier this year, Baxter fitted it for him :)

Always worth checking VW first, sometimes its a pleasant surprise on the price as well :) (but not always  )

Can't remember price but the one for maximus came from germany, no stock in this country. If you want one get while you can, they will be obsolete soon me thinks.

me too when I was adjusting on of the mirrors (some git decided to mess with one). I noticed that the old style one I've got is better than the silver one I put on, the mirror hasn't faded or lost part of its surface - it was silver ones I posted.
