Hi All
Spoke to a bloke today and he told me about these wonderful little boxes that convert the altenator signal
Does anyone know where you can buy them or how to make them
The reason I ask is I have been diddled by a bloke in Aus who said it works on both.
OK oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature all work fine and it looks pretty

I always thought those wonderful little boxes that sent a signal to the tachometer and charged the batteries was the Alternator....Coz I'm sure they use the same system in Australia, even if they fit their alternators up side down...
Are you sure the bloke you spoke to wasn't very drunk or summat,,,,
Regards
Fritz,,,,,
PS. Unless the bulb has gone.......
What is the Red thing on the right (in the second picture),,

if its anything like mine, on the dash but yet to be wored, that red thing is a light whcih flashes when you need to change gear....mine has instructions on how to set this up.....
Think I shall probably remain changing gear when I think, and not when some little light tells me too....but it came with the kit, so is mounted and will be iwred in. Will be interesting to see if it and me agree!

Thank you all,
Thats the bit I need, more pennies
Ringo, the red light on the side is a shift light, set it to flash at optimum revs for power. Or in my case when its revving too high in top i.e. when it comes on I slow down

ps Does anyone know if there is supplier of these in the UK?
