1Y question - Difference between 1.9d and 1.9d/td

Im looking at my new engine and its says on the block "1.9 d/td".

The old one only says 1.9 d on it.

Anyone know what the difference is?

Different injectors perhaps?

Thanks

Internal differences between n/a and turbo are con rods and pistons. There are a few differnces with the bolt on bits.

Thanks Andy,

I hope its a runner - and if it is im going to slap a turbo on it. :)

(thats after i have a spare 1Y in the garage :) )

You know, this engine change would be dead easy if i didnt have to swap over all the bits every time...

I need to start collecting the diesel bits i think..

Pah, missed sump on ebay last week!

Ringo if it is not too late, any chance of a few photos of the 1y in place and striped ect?

I taught myself how to wire a two way switch with a photo guide from itrnet :D
