the guy listing it said that it might be possible

Completely the wrong fitting for an air cooled.

2.0ltr backbox from GSF £58.50 new, that exhaust is second hand and is currently at £20 plus £18 p&p, put another £20 plus a £9 tailpipe and you've got a brand new one.

nice one steve - my 'cousin-in-law' works at our local GSF so I might give him a call to see if he gives family discount!!
