T4 double seat in a T3?

Hi everyone.
I've been searching for info about swapping seats for 1980 Devon and have finally decided the best thing to do is - ask!
Kids get travel sick facing backwards, so I'd like to put in a double seat in the front - then we can drive relentlessly all around the country.
T4 twin seat (2000 Caravelle) looks v promising - has the advantage of a built-in over the shoulder seat belt - but what would it be like to fit?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
