Been to Sardinia, to drop the van off for summer weekends.Considering how quickly it was thrown together, it drove all the way without fault. Will now reply to my PMs. Its a great place with lots of tracks and varied terrain. No mud though!

No rain then Pete, that looks nice.
Yellow syncro blends nicely with landscape especially when you can open the roof aswell
How was the trip down there?

Crossed our minds too when driving a main road there at night in the hired Micra... rough and ready like an old farm track with a bit of tarmac thrown on top. Then some real beauties elsewhere for the Top-Gear crowd perfect EEC tarmac hill-climb curves !

Have you been to Portopollo Pete? It's in the North East

Highly recommended if you like your water sports - I was out there a few years ago staying at a mate's place and it was awesome - kiting, windsurfing and wakeboarding. There's a campsite right on the peninsula (as well as lots of free camping spots). The camping looked a bit rocky to me though - staying in a bus was definitely the way to go!!

Don't forget the Nautilus Caves and those amazing horses in the North, just East of Alghero... there's a large wildlife sanctuary that we seemed to be able to drive anywhere on up there. And the 1 metre gauge singletrack railway from Alghero to S?*&^%$£ ?? (where we paid about £80 for a 64 Mb compact flash, the only one in Sardinia at the time I should think

)
