Oil Temperature and pressure sender block.

In a bid to monitor the oil in my heavy van to avoid premature destruction I have been looking at reliable ways of fitting sender units.
Having noted that the Germans use a sandwich plate to take oil from the oil filter, for additional cooling, I saw that they also do a plate which just houses a pressure sender and temp sender. I then did some research with Merlin Motorsport for a similar product.

In above link go to T3, then oil cooler.
Merlin came up with a Mocal device called a TGASP100
This is priced at £43.71 excluding.
I was just interested to hear from anyone who has used such a device, and how they got on with it. Would be going on a syncro 2.1 DJ.
There would possibly be a problem with retaining the standard filter. On the linked German website it looks like they use a shorter filter which would give clearance for the exhaust.
Link to Merlin Motorsport for example of sandwich plates.

Any thoughts gratefully appreciated.
