hi orangevanman they are sweet wheels even managed to get centres on with a bit of fiddling if you are gettin same wheels let me know and will give you info on how to secure centres
Wouldnt go 60mm mate bit of a hard ride and if you are only thinkin of changing springs u have to do shocks too bit costly and 45mm is just nice let me know about the centres.
you should get longer bolts with the wheels they come as part of your package you also need at least 5mm spacers for the front as they rub on the wishbones havent changed the threads on the back yet but they are solid enough had to take the 2 bolts out of drum and bore the centre of wheel slightly to fit at the back fronts had to be right through and the bearing cap lip had to come of to fit but all easy let me know if you need anymore info cheers ROB!!

How do uou all go getting 8 ply commercial tyres to fit some of these car wheels?

as surely ordinary car tyres are illegal and wont pass the MOT

just normal car tyres mate and as far as im aware its not classed as a comercial vehicle so dont need comercial tyres not sure though me and my mate fitted them and he is an MOT tester so he would have said something at the time he got the same wheels

Rob, check your V5, because if it says panel van then it is illegal, and with the new computerised MOT's that link up to DVLA for classification it shouldnt pass if it says van.

I know mine is classed as a panel van so it would be illegal on car tyres. If anyone has converted to camper the log book will need changing where it says body type

Frpm an MOT point the load rating does not matter for class 4 vehicles (all t25's). From an insurance point if you have a blow out and crash they will not pay up.

are you sure?

anything up to 3.5 tonnes gvw is a class 4, and i have had a swb transit fail for not having 8 ply tyres in the past. From what i remember it is down to gvw, and the limit is 1475kg, I know a few folks with Land Rovers registered as commercials who are now having problems with the new mot

I am very sure, tyres load ratings do not apply on class 4 (upto 3 tonn). The trouble is its in the testers manual but with a seperate bit saying it does not apply to class 4. The MOT test is a total waste of time, such simple things are not covered like this).
