If anyone needs a starter for their A/C CU I have one, but I do not want to hijack this thread. So, if Em has one for you rugchecker, forget mine.

Cheers Meggles.....
yeah - was really good. The Kyham was brilliant (first use and all that)...gotta work out where to get some of the really strong suction hooks from (like the JK ones for suction awning support).
Not here to make a profit as not a trader....bought as spare for my Aircooled, the shell of which went to vw heaven ages ago, but lives on in starters, dizzy, heat exchangers etc etc all over the UK!!
take care

Hi Em
sorry for delay, I got dragged off from work by ambulance yesterday with chest pains, silly sod it was due to being overweight and eating (& drinking) . So got discharged late last night and have the week off now.
So not all bad.
Anyway yes please can I take you up on your offer please? How would you like paying. Do you have a paypal account? or is a cheque OK?
I'll PM you with my address details.

Not sure if I'm putting this post in the right place so please let me know or move it if not.
My starter motor also seems to have gone to the dead place. I've had my T25 for about a year and was looking forward to using it to get away from it all next week (taking some holiday entitlement from work). When I first bought the T25, the starter was sluggish but it didn't seem to matter because the engine would catch straight away. It's been parked up on my drive for a few weeks so I put it on charge to take for it's MOT. Unfortunately the starter has other ideas. The red light comes on when I turn the key, but there is no "yuh yuh" from the starter. Must presume starter has finally died. So we tried to tow it into position ready to roll it down the drive. It's stuck. Won't budge and inch. I'm towing with my diesel Golf which is usually pretty good at pulling. The T25 is having none of it. So would anyone know if it could be the starter failure that's stopping the van being towed? I did pull it very hard just in case the brakes were seized, but with that sort of force it should have shifted.
So the next question is where do you all go to buy parts? Is ebay the best place to try do you think?
Any advice would be much appreciated. I feel very much the new girl when it comes to T25s! Just can't believe she won't move just when I've got holiday booked.
