Hi all,
As some may be aware I am currently converting my ac bus into a scooby powered camper, right now i am fitting the heater and i have a few questions, firstly how is the temp controled, i am guessing there is some sort of cut off valve which i am missing at the mo. Also can anyone help me get one of the leavers that fits in here

Just bellow the large air hole, above the two water.

Finaly what should I do with this great big hole?

temp is controlled by restricting the flow of hot coolant from the engine and/or closing the vents.

big hole is for the coolant pipes, or in your cases the hot air pipe that came from the back. Ditch it and fit an eber? one less spanner in the engine fitting process

Ok so I need a flow restictor of some sort?
i know what the hole was for, just wondering if there is a plate that goes over it with the pipes coming though it?
cheers

The flow restrictor is usually found under that hole controlled by a cable from heater control sliders, its a b to get at. The hole is covered by a push fit rubber plug. If you dont cover it you will get loads of heat blowing out under the carpet wether you want it or not.
