As it was nice yesterday I did an oil change, but my van is fitted with an oil cleaner, does anyone know where I can get a new filter for it?? not even sure that this is a VW item.

Your best bet would be to remove the guts of the thing and go to your local motor factors and try to match it up with something similar, and when you do make a note of it for next time.

PS, you never know it might even have part number on it, if you are lucky.

Is it a simple filter or is it a cetrifuge? If so you just need to scrap the carbon build up out of it. Industrial engines have them fitted and they remove an amazing amount of carbon.
