Bloody bolts.....

We're desperately needing a pair of the bolts that go through the bottom of the front shock absorbers and wishbones on the front of our T25!

Both bolts have vulcanised to the rubber and will need to be cut out, and we can't seem to find any anywhere...new shocks don't come with them supplied (so helpful - NOT)!

Does anyone know the size of these and also a pointer as to where to get them from would be good.

Cheers in advance.

19mm head, 12x1.5 thread.
They aren't vulcanised to the rubber, just rusted into the metal tube that runs through the metal bush that goes through the rubber.

Coppaslip when you fit the next lot!

Lots of wd40/penetrating fluid.. leave them for a few hours.. then good fitting 6 wall drive sockets.. and lots of brute force.. work it back and forth, adding penetrating fluid

Hi Nighttrain,
I'm sure the quote about people who don't drink was quipped by Dean Martin and not ol blue eyes!? I read it in last weeks sunday magazine.
Not that it helps your seized suspension bolts....but if you need a hand I live just the south side of Blackwall tunnel.
Good luck :ok

Cheers for that mate, will give you a shout if needs be. :)

It is Frank, as it's on one of the gigs i have of his from the mid 60's, thousands of others have probably used it since though. 8)
