'Cor, thats an old page, how long has Si lived in France for?
The internet eh, loads of old stuff kicking about!
I think un updated pages should self destruct after a period, keep the place tidy.

Still available direct from me (pm or mail me) or via Brickworks and a couple of other suppliers.. quite a few on here have the shifters fitted..
Yeah, Mocki and I have tried in vain to get them to delete the page.. as they locked him out so he couldnt access it.. I was hoping that it would get deleted, but it hasnt.. I suppose if its viewed every now and then, it stays "active".....
Anyone got suggestions on how I can sort it??

Have one and love it. Have had similar on every VW I've owned (type 1s, 2s & 3s) and put about 80k on a few with no problems.
Principle is simply to change shift knob to linkage point ratio by moving the fulcrum point away from linkage point / closer to shift knob.

Knob stays the same height. When you shift the knob moves a couple inches less from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, etc.
