Secondary Water pump

Hello all.
Just finished replacing my JX (melted) with an AAZ, connected it all up and secondary water pump started peeing water.
Seems to be what caused the demise of the JX
Anyway, I have bypassed this for the moment using jubilee clips and a pipe joiner....do I really need a secondary water pump now? And if so where can I get one?
