16" Rear Cv joints

Are either of these unique to this van (it has a diff lock.) fixed my front but think all four backs need doing drive shaft moves about and inch along it's length.

will the rear drive shafts are ment to float in and out to allow for suspension articulation.
if the joints are worn you will have play rotationally often occumpanied with a little rattling if you get my drift.

As Lee says.. there should be side to side play..
if the shaft waggles in the joint up down etc.. then thats joint wear...

You might also pop the drums off and have a good dust and look around as well, if the back brakes haven't been done

Self-adjusters seem to need some help. While you're around there so to speak.
The inner CVs seem more likely to wear than the outers, but then again, may have been done more recently. Both can make propshaft vibes worse in my opinion.
