I recently had my master brake cylinder replaced at a garage (91 T25). Since I got it back, the stereo, horn and central locking no longer work. Do you reckon they have popped a fuse somehow?

Sounds more like they've disturbed a connection under the dash, thats where I'd look, those 3 things should have thier own fuses.

Hmm, I thought you might say that. I've had a cursory look at the fuses and nothing untoward there. It sorta looks like they had the stereo out, as it's not quite back in right. I could look in behind there, but have no idea what I'm looking for.

..plugs. that aren't connected properly. Give them a jiggle and such. I'd take it back and complain personally, its not right that they've done work and left other parts of your vehicle in an unsatisfactory mannor. Also, they shouldn't need to remove the radio to change the clutch master, thats just odd.

Was the brake master.

It's a nice garage, I've known them for ages. I'm sure they'll sort it, just didn't want to wait until Monday if I can fix it myself.

Ah, even so, no need to remove the radio for that (sorry, misread)
I'd get them to look at it if they're friendly enough and like looking after customers. But by all means have a look. I'd start by poping the dash top off and peeking in there, but I can't imagine that the radio feed comes from that side of the dash.

Ok, thanks for that. Will have a look tomorrow.

Right, I've had the dash apart, no plugs are apart. I've checked every fuse and all are fine.

I still have no horn, stereo or central locking.

Anymore ideas?

could be a earth wire they disturbed, or even removed from its place of connection, try looking just below your left knee, where the heater blows out, there is a earth point there, behind the heater pipes, and the main earth "spider" to the up and right fo the fusebox........
