Steering column - safety coupling
Posted: 01 Mar 2008, 13:24
Morning everyone,
I've just called at a friends house as he is having trouble refitting his T25 steering wheel that he removed a few weeks ago.
However, there isn't enough of the splined section sticking out to fit the wheel on to, and closer examination has found that the steering column safety coupling has come apart allowing the column to drop.
We can't push it back into position by hand so I was hoping that someone could suggest the best way to push it back into position?
Prior to him removing the wheel, the steering was fine. He is refitting the original wheel.
cheers
Rich
