ok just wana check over my wiring to my two batteries in my holdsworth villa
sorted out what a few where going to the lesuire battery ,but the main battery has a few on the "+" terminal i cant seem to identify they are.

1)Yellow/green -25amp fuse (goes through bottom of battery box)
2)Red -no fuses(looks o.e) (goes through bottom of battery box)
3)Blue-25amp fuse (goes through bottom of battery box)
4)Brown/Redno fuse(look o.e) (goes through bottom of battery box)

Any ideas? :?:

a little blue wire goes to my alternator ( i think ), a big red wire goes to my starter motor ( it then chains onto the alternator too)
a medium green wire goes to the combi w4 split charger. on mine.

surely I am missing a wire which powers the fuse box? I must have another thin red wire as the main power for the other electrics.

yours will do the same just with different colours :D

(sorry I can see that this post has helped anyone.)

Mines a diesel so i can't comment.

However, you will most likely have:

1) a lead going to the starter motor. (2 or 4 in your list)
2) a lead going to the alternator. (2 or 4 in your list)
3) a lead going to your fuse box.
4) a small lead going to the zig unit (you do have a switch that you can select car or leisure?).

I shouldnt get concerned about it - sounds normal to me....

Does your leisure battery get charged when the engine is running?
Does your fridge work on 12v when the engine is running?

The two relays that control this (and had both broken on mine) are under the drivers seat....

Cheers mate found one end of the split charge on the lesuire battery workign fine 25 amp fuse charges when engines running ,

Would the zig unit be from the van battery surely should be from the lesuire?oh silly question how would i know if fridge works on 12v when driving i do have a switch on the dash but is there a light on the fridge ?
