Diesel engine queries

Three questions popped into what's left of the brain whilst seeking the source of an oil leak on the 1.6 TD Doka.
1.The leak is from the head gasket on the right behind the injectors.Is there any mileage in tightening the head bolts or am I best leaving it till I replace the gasket in warmer weather?
2.The turbo cooler (I think that's what it is) pipe is flopping in a useless way near the air filter box and seems too short to get near the turbo.Should it be lengthened to blow directly onto the turbo?
3.There are two reasonably large bore rubber pipes (similar in size to the top hose) on the right hand side of the engine which go nowhere.They could well be breathers but seem a bit big-but hey what do I know?Any thoughts anyone?
I've looked through my 'so wird's gemacht' manual which is generally good but hasn't anything about the above.
