Hi all!

I have just fitted naw expansion tank, level indicator, cap, temp sender, L shaped metal pipe and replaced all the small diameter pipes in the engine bay. I have alse followed the Mocki chapter on bleeding.

What should i look out for symtom wise if i have not got all the air out of the system and how long will it be before i know?

It is a 86 with a DG engine.

Any advice most welcome Mark

If you put your heater control to hot and rev your engine you will here the air going through the system . You could also over heat
Go for a spin get it hot the release the bleed valve on the rad whilst the engine ia at about 3000 revs see if any air comes out.
