Removing headrest sockets from rear seat

I am trying to remove the headrest socket from a Caravelle rear seat and fit it to another rear seat. I have pull out the locking springs and got the headrest out. The guide (see item 10 in figure below) seems pretty stuck ... it might be screwed in - does anyone have any experience in doing this?

You ask why? I have swapped my Caravelle rear seat for a multivan bed seat but want to match the headrests with the middle and front seats.

Thanks :D
