Nice one you two. I have already sent email to Lion pub at Blakey Ridge. Hope to get thete late spring or early summer. :D I want to try out the van, after it's refit, before getting more adventurous.
Again, well spotted.

Good site, well found! :D

Hope to try Breighton Ferry before too long.

The Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge is a great pub with excellent food, beer and real fires. Plus the chance to get snowed in over winter, always a bonus.
It does get busy though, often with coaches and it's on the coast to coast walk so there's usually hikers stopping for a swift pint or two.

Just wonder why there's not more 'northern' counties and pubs listed :?:

unfortunately, sadly  The Lion at Blakey Ridge do not do camping anymore! They asked pubcamping to remove their details!
Never mind, somewhere else nearby may be available.
