Anyone know what the gap should be?

I took my eber to bits today and replaced the 3 sensors/switches and put a new glow plug in but alas no heat. Not sure if the glow plug gap is factory set or not. I have read it somewhere, but theres no mention of it in the manual.

Cheers

Phil

i reckon its pre gapped .i sell spark plugs and they all come pre gapped so i reckon glow plug would be the same asuming u have correct plug .
think the one in mine was beru gze22.

Cheers for that.

I bought my replacement plug from Gunzle, as recommended by Irishdavid. David is the resident guru ref B2L heaters but he is overseas at the mo. The gap looked quite large though, would it make a difference if i shortened the gap?

Have a look in in the Wiki at the top of the page. Alot of very useful info in there.

But read thishere

The eber is easy to dismantle and the sensors and switches are easy to replace. I think irishdavid is going to do another thread about the B2L when he gets back in March. His internet is limited at the mo.
