Check your power first - sound like you havent got enough juice from the battery. Tis the normal problem....

If you read the wiki theres some good tips on it. The issue probly isnt your battery - but the wires that connect it to the eber. After 20 years they start getting a bit corroded....

See the wiki... https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Ca ... berspacher

I like the title - i've often needed that phrase when dealing with my eber in the last year :)

Did you have the van running whilst starting the eber if so it could be the temperature sensors, see Wiki for Irish dave's write up.
A member on here has just got his working following Dave's advise and he has the same eber and had the same problem.

Use the Wiki at top of page or search sensors, and all will be revealed.
Thats how I have been keeping up to date with it all so far

had a look at irish davids advice.he knows his stuff.
its not the battery, cheched power at eber controll unit, reading 11.5v with eber running,so its not cable loss.
so its prob sensors.or lack of fuel.hav day off tom so i might hav a look.

cheers for the help :D hope i have good news soon

Can you hear the pump clicking when the Eber is running / trying to fire up? Check for voltage on the plug to the pump.

yes.
check voltage and that the spade connectors are fitting tight enough on the pump.
If it was ticking, and now isn't thats a worry.
