Anyone attempted repairs of a rusty gutter.

Autosleepers oh so chunky rubber seal is rivetted through the gutter - having a peek toady shows this has led to rust....no.......RUST - (describes it better) where several of the rivets go through the gutter .

Has anyone tried to repair such a thing (may only apply to high top/upturned boat owners).

We just rivet holes, no rubber! Plus water damage to the timber side panel on the nearside as well as good bit of surface rust.

My solution was to clean out the joint between the high top and the van then use white silicone sealant. It worked and has remained watertight so far. I did however notice at the weekend the silicone is starting to peel away so looks like I'm going to have to revisit it.

Don't use cleaner to get the 'black gunk' Autosleeper use off. If you do you'll have fun stopping it running out down the bodywork, all year! Been there done that!

Good luck and keep us posted as to what you did and how it worked.
