I have the "downstairs sorted, almost. What I could do with now is some pics of a typical bunk area in a high top. Just to get an idea of what I can do. Especially close ups of the leading edge of the bed area. Also some ideas re the lining of the sides etc, and the covering for the floor. This is going to be a one off job because I want to have the bunk area as beds for when the grandchildren come with us, but also to stow things when I take the boss, sorry the wife. Any links to other useful sites would be useful.

Just the sort of thing I wanted, thanks. May I ask: Is the pull out bit just like a "false floor" on top of the bed area which you just slide backwards and forwards as required.

Pretty much yes, but remember to fit a lock so it doesn't slide out if you have to slam the anchors on

to date i have only been tw**ed in the back ofthe head once! still haven't fitted a retaining lock tho!

I've been tw**ed in the back of the head on loads of occasions. The wife has long arms!!
