What do you guys think of this type of thing? I`m thinking of getting one to just chill under of a summers evening when away in the van.
Seems a reasonable price too.

I've thought about a canopy for mine, but have come the conclusion that I'd be better off with a pop up gazebo, the type with the aluminium scissor type system, then sides / front curtains could be added as necessary.

Smiler, we got the Easi Canopi that you're thinking about. For the price of it I think they're good value. Can be put up / taken down very quickly and packs away into a small bag that comes with it. The only thing with them is that they tend to sag a bit in the middle of the roof section (especially if there's any rain on it), as you can see in this photo:
It's best to take the canopy down if the wind is picking up, but I guess that's the case with a lot of canopies?
Tony
P.S. having said all that, I'd like to try the Capri canopy, the second one on this page:

Has anyone had any experience of this canopy?

Yes it is...you can buy them from Bluebird.around £35 .best bit of kit I've bought for the awning. I have a couple of different height legs...lowest one makes a nice low coffee table for the drinking nights

You'd best change your user name to the Rev Limp Daddy then

Last time i checked, you could get the table leg & the part for under the table from B&Q, think they were stocked as breakfast bar legs or something similar.
Back to the original subject though....

what size capri canopy would be suitable?
Posted: 04 Feb 2008, 12:38

I think there is only one size?
Must admit for me it's either a pop up gazebo or a capri sun canopy.
