Alloy Wheel Centre bore

I've got some alloy wheels (which are too wide so I'll have to return them!
) but the other problem is that the centre bore is 73mm.
Would I need to use some sort of adaptor to reduce it down to 66 for the T3 or is it near enough. If so, where do I get them. The only one's I've seen (at Brickwerks) are for Porsche wheels.
I've seen plenty of information about hubs which need to be bored out but I don't know what you do if it's too large. One of the sites I've seen said that the hub bore is the load bearing mechanism for the wheel rather than the wheel studs.
Have I missed something in the Wiki?
