Hi, anyone got any clues on how to identify a pop top. All painted with hammerite so no stickers. All I know is it's on an '89 T25 and has a hydraulic strut in each of four corners. A friend want's to buy a complete replacement so needs to identify it. Or can he fit a different one? no pics available at present!
Any help appreciated. He will be buying from here!

if it hinges from the side with gas struts holding up at the corners, then surely it's a Devon roof...

Any ideas guys as i could be wrong

sorry, read post wrong

Do some of the Remo conversions have a roof which extends up on four gas struts??

it could be a danbury, they have a strut in each corner and a canvas roof, for replacement ring them. they don't have rooves for particular models which is why they don't fit very well but they should be able to supply something of a particular size!

Strut in each corner?
If it's solid sided and lifts vertically it could be a Autohomes Kamper pop top like mine.
If so, your mate needs a high top

hi top - another pic added.

Hope this pic helps identify it. More pics available if necessary.

It transpires that he actually just needs a strut or two. He has been told the struts are no longer available so that is why he wants a new top. Anyone able to identify it and know if they are available still.

I agree, it is a bloody awful roof, but that is not what I asked! May have looked better if it could have been pushed up to it's full extent. (BTW, the marks wash off easily, it was parked under a tree.).

I'd still like to know what type it is!
The whole van looks crap to me but beauty is in the eye of the beholder Owner has poor eyesight :)

it is a hard sided version of the one I have. I think the holdsworth villa 3 had those tops.
