Had a look at wiki. Now the factory steel wheel off-set should be ET 39.

If I put some alloys on with a ET 29, does that mean I need a 10mm spacer to bring us back to ET 39?

:?

No, that would give an ET of 19!

et39 is the most inset that can be used sensibely et 31 or 32 is ideal,cj.

I've seen some with an offset of 24. Does that mean they would be too far in or too far out?

Still :?

Depends on how wide the rim is... the wider the rim the less offset as you can only go one way without hitting the suspension..

Factory alloys are 6j rim and et 30...
