Before you buy new lining carpet have you thought about cleaning the carpet that is at present on the units?

I thought I was going to have to put new carpet on the roof of our Devon Moonraker poptop because it had got mould on it, but read on here somewhere that you can clean off mould if you use a 10% solution of Milton disinfectant.

One day spent with a small scrubbing brush and sponge and it worked! One year later the mould has not returned.

If it wasn't pooh brown, i would!!! although the 2nd hand interior i bought was mankier than a manky thing - smelly, dirty, wet, mouldy and very, very browwwwwwwwn!

I'm retrimming all of the interior, the seat cushions have just been recovered in faux suede and they look really good - i have loads left over and might try covering the carpety bits with that (swanky!), if it don't work - carpet it is. :P

Incidentally, Aldridge Trimming in Wolverhanpton did a superb job of recovering all the seats in our van. We supplied the material and they did it to our design. They would probably help you out with any trimming stuff you need.
