where can i get a new hose that goes to the clutch slave cylinder? is it main dealer only? There appears to be two types earlier steel pipe with two unions and later maybe 87 onwards plastic pipe, can any one shed any light on the difference and whether easy to replace. Problem i have is leaking master cylinder but bleed nipple if siezed on slave so need to replace both master and slave and i know that the hose will fall apart as its super rusty at the joints.
Anyone shed any light on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Simon

Remove the old pipe and take it along to a local motor factors. They should be able to fabricate a new pipe the same as the old one.
Check with them first though to ensure they can do this!

A proper hydraulic hose repair centre (Pirtek or the like .... to be found in Yellow Pages) will manufacture a new hose to a higher pressure rating than the original either using the old fittings or (more likely) new ones .... it's only standard stuff ... honest.

The problem may be NOT damaging the end of the long clutch pipe from front to back, be very carefull. If in any doubt get a proper garage to do this for you.
