Window Filler Strips & info on Bonded Windows

Hi,
I'm just refurbing my windows and my chrome filler strips are a bit crap and not very chrome anymore, so I'm looking to get some new ones, but I'm considering just to go for the black rubber replacements, I've had a look at the wiki and looked at the companies there,
http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/part.phtml?PartID=2374
and
http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-14-rubber.aspx
I've also found these people that do whole window installations for many vans
http://www.leisurevehiclewindows.co.uk/ These lot also do bonded windows for newer VW (amongst others, might be able to be adapted for T25s?)
Has anyone used these filler strips from these companies?
I was under the impression that the VW filler strips have a different cross section from those advertised, will the ones advertised be ok?
Also can anyone tell me if VW still do them new?
I think I've found the right parts in VAGCAT, in the body section under moldings, trim strips and stone guards, can anyone confirm this?
Thanks.
