Happy New year everyone!!!
Does anyone know of a company that can convert my AAZ powered bus to Scooby power in the UK?
Want the job done, don't have the time to do it myself (buying a pub!)

Hey dude Happy New Year!!
Managed to get a bit more out of it and now head gasket has started to weep a bit of water externally so I am just putting the feelers out for costings and a garage to do a scooby transplant...have seen a couple and they've blown me away!

might want to contact richard.... something or other, he does a proper cast bellhousing and other parts to make it fit really well, I think he does the conversions too..
also bare in mind that the gearbox should be in very good shape before you start throwing a lot more power through it.. any dodgy changing or noises will break much quicker with more power.... speak to Aidan about gearboxes..

Dont forget this is a drive in drive out price. Totally remanufactured engine, cast bell housing, exhaust etc. Just peace of mind and some come back if it goes breasticles up.

The scooby makes so much sense, you get ten years worth more technology, more power, better mileage and sound fab. Mine is at present a 1600 diesel. Any other engine would be a plus, even a sixtys bus one! :lol:Cant wait to finish it.

toomanytoys have you heard something i haven't ? i would be interested in hearing anything that you guys may know about TSR good or bad. Its better to go into this with my eyes open.
Another question twin cam or quad cam which is best and why ?

Early 2.5s suffered with head gaskets Ive heard. 2.2 seems to be the favorite(single cam.-one each head). Late 2.5 quad cam(two per head) engines seem to have the problem ironed out.
