to save me reinventing the wheel does anyone have the design for adapter plate to mate say a 1.9TD with a diesel bellhousing whilst fitting the engine at it's original car angle rather than JXing it over to 50 degrees ?
Obviously of most use for dokas and sinkas but some others might prefer the advantage of almost upright installation.
Better still anyone supply one complete with studs and bolts ?
Anyone else want them ?

Hi Aidan
Would you be using the starter from the T4 or from the TDI donor vehicle?
My plate mates a 1.9 TDI PD engine (near enough verically) to the T3 transaxle but using the starter from the donor vehicle, in my case a Passat 3B3.
I should be taking engine and transaxle out within a month or so - any good?
Happy New Year...

more discussions suggest this is too much work for little gain, looks like I'll JX it, but i need some AAZ bits, early AAZ inlet manifold with no egr and late exhaust manifold with three bolt turbo connection to suit my garrett.

SyncroAndy - Happy New Year, it's already been out for a play.

Doug - Sounds like your making progress. Happy New Year.

Aiden - May be a wise choice, alot of work is involved, but upright is still good :D Happy New Year

Aidan, ive got a fair few AAZ bits and bobs left over from my conversion.

I'll have a look at whats there, if any of its of use youre more than welcome to whatever is there. I know for sure that ive got an AAZ inlet manifold, will just have to check its the one you need.

Also got another dead AAZ here that's a friends and i happen to know he's interested in selling bits from it if there any use.
