Never quite managed to get rid of a bit of a stutter that seemed to get worse when the engine was warm - under full throttle (bit of a b$%^&r at roundabouts). Ran perfectly well on Petrol.

Unfortunately Steve is about 400 miles away in Chester so browsed the threads on spark plugs on the forum and today replaced the existing ones with some NGK BP7ES (simple plugs £2.25 each at Autosave).....and it appears to have worked.

Can't believe the difference - from wondering if I was going to get the stutter to clean pick up and what appears to be a bot more power - I love the van again

Just what i like - a £9 fix that makes driving it a pleasure again

Thanks for the info, have just ordered a set of those plugs. What should the gap be set at for LPG?

I read on here (in my trawl of old posts) 0.5mm so set it to that.

Will report back if there is any change over the next few days.

...and still going very well

- look slike the 20mpg I was getting (pre plug change) has increased too (OK only by 1-2 mpg but I keep a sad statto log off all fillups).

I may try turning the wick down a smidge to get a couple more if it doesn't affect the performance i am now enjoying (don't worry - I don't expect ore than 22/3mpg )

was where I found then 0.5 gap. Seems to work well.
