The diagram of the deisel injectors on the bentley link on this forum look simple enough - is it possible to strip and clean injectors yourself ? or will i find i may upset some kind of setting inside if i start this job !

Cheers

Injectors have to be 'set up' and calibrated to deliver the correct amount and proper spray pattern of diesel after they've been disturbed.

Far better to get a replacement set, from a reputable source if you are not happy with yours.

thanks for the reply, just got some tests planned to try and sort out the smoke / starting problem.

Going to do a compression check if its possible - and i thought while i was at it if it was simple enough i could clean the injectors and see if that helped in any way.
