1Y mods on veg oil?

Whats the minimum mods I can get away with on a 1Y engine running on veg oil.
I'm about to fit an inline fuel heater (the type with the glow plugs and coolant heat exchanger), then I plan to run it on 50/50 for now. How far can i take this 75/25 or even 100% Veg oil?
I plan eventually to go over to a two tank system, with a small tank for dieso under the bonnet.
Any advice?

I would say the minimum mods would be a two tank system as running it on 50/50 this time of year will make it hard to start.

I agree. I have run a 1Z 1.9 TDi golf on veg from 25% up to 100%. probably done about 10,000 miles. even 50 / 50 is harder to start if its below 5 degrees.
I'm not running a twin tank system in my syncro which runs an AAZ 1.9 TD. It loves it. Starts on diesel, switch to 100% veg when warm.
I'm using a kit from
http://www.smartveg.com/. It was £600 but its superb and saving 60p / litre at the moment it will pay for itself in no time...
(mention Sean for a discount if you buy one)
